The 501st Legion is an international organization of Star Wars fans dedicated to wearing the costumes of villains from around the galaxy. We have over 13,000 members all over the world. But we’re not all bad! The 501st is devoted to raising funds for children’s charities all over the world.

Joining the Legion starts with your passion for Star Wars and a screen-accurate villain costume. Begin by choosing a character from the Star Wars universe and researching the Costume Reference Library (CRL) on our website, which provides detailed guidelines for each approved costume. Whether you’re building your costume from scratch or modifying an existing one, our community is here to help with advice, resources, and support to ensure your costume meets Legion standards.
